What’s Your Story?
I started performing out in 2006 and shortly after started writing my own songs. I am working on my 7th album right now and I tour regionally, sharing the Gospel through music.
What Are The Challenges You Had To Overcome?
Time, working full time while doing a music ministry on the side. I often feel like I’m not good enough. God has provided the talent and He provides the platform. It’s all Him and not me! I have also had some health problems in the last few years – back issues, knee issues (from an injury about 3 years ago or so), and shoulder issues (pinched nerve and small torn rotator cuff), which makes my ministry difficult at times. I have learned to lighten my loads as much as possible and God gave me a great husband who helps me out as much as he can. I am truly blessed!
What Is Your Song About?
The song is about my ministry. If you want to walk on water, you gotta get out of the boat. You have to have faith in Jesus and follow His call on your life. We are called to go and make disciples. “If I want to walk on water, and show the world of God’s great love. Makin’ sons and daughters, I gotta get out of that boat. I gotta start walkin’ on water.”
